This is my favorite video of my personally developed Violet Craft FPP technique. I have shiny, produced videos with television stations and production companies that you can find linked below, but this raw video in my studio is my favorite.

I foundation paper piece just a little different than the way I have seen anyone else teach it. This is my way. It is absolutely not the only way.

Tutorial uses The Unicorn and Horse Abstractions Quilt pattern.

In this shorter additional segment, I show you how to find your way around the map, matching up your completed templates with the map, piecing those templates together and removing paper from the seam allowances.

Fresh Quilting - Foundation Paper Piecing (VIDEO)

This lovely, styled video was produced for the Modern Quilt Guild’s television series, Fresh Quilting. This episode regularly airs on PBS in all areas. I have on too much makeup and missed my queue to end on time. Hahaha! But it gets the job done. This video uses Forest Abstractions: The Snail as the example.

Man Sewing - Foundation Paper Piecing (VIDEO)

I joined my caffeine-fueled, good friend Rob Appell on the set of Man Sewing. Rob loves to sew and share that love with others. You can visit Rob’s website here.

Afraid of paper piecing? So was Rob, but together we made a quick and easy project featuring Rob's needle bolt logo. It's very rock and roll, you could add it to a bag or perhaps sew it onto the back of a jeans jacket. It will be great for your street cred.Rob had not foundation paper pieced before, so I showed him how using his lightening bolt logo. PDF pattern is available for free download here.

So, you’ve pieced a whole section and then you see it. The wrong fabric in the wrong place. This photo tutorial shows how I fix a mistake of my own and how I would tackle one sent in by a reader.
