The Rooster is an English Paper Piecing (EPP) project that finishes at 20” square. The background is a standard 1.25” hexagon template that can be reused and added to extend the project to a larger size. The project booklet includes reusable templates, EPP glue-basting instructions, coloring page and fabric selection guide. 

English Paper Piecing is a technique where fabric is wrapped around paper templates and secured with basting stitches or glue. The pieces are then sewn together by hand with a tiny whip stitch or ladder stitch. Tutorials and additional information can also be found on my website, www.violetcraft.com.
